GenoID
Patient-controlled digital health records for East, Southern, and West Africa.
Visit genoafrica.comThe problem
Across much of the continent a patient's medical history is scattered across paper files, clinic ledgers and disconnected systems. Continuity of care breaks the moment someone changes provider, city or country.
Our approach
GenoID gives every patient a portable, consent-driven health identity. Records follow the person, not the clinic, and providers request access rather than own the data.
GenoID is a patient-controlled digital health records platform serving East, Southern and West Africa. It gives individuals a single, verifiable health identity they carry between providers, and gives clinicians a complete history at the point of care.
The platform is built for low-bandwidth realities: offline-first capture at the clinic, sync when connectivity allows, and consent recorded as a first-class object so patients always know who has seen what.
Key features
- Portable patient-owned health identity
- Granular, revocable provider consent
- Offline-first clinical capture with background sync
- Interoperable records across borders and providers
- Audit trail on every access event
